Common questions
- Do you write code for clients?
- Sometimes, when a scoped prototype or small build is the right way to test the product decision. I am not a dev shop for open-ended implementation, but I can help you evaluate vendors, hire the right people, or shape the path your team should build.
- What if we need something smaller?
- The Product Scorecard is $6,500 and is designed as a focused first step. You get a clear read on the decision, the tradeoffs, and the next move. If even that is too much commitment, book a call. Sometimes a single conversation is enough to point you in the right direction.
- Do you offer nonprofit pricing?
- Sometimes. Mission-aligned nonprofits may qualify for a $5,000 Product Scorecard when the scope is tightly bounded and the work fits the mission. I handle that case by case.
- What if we realize we don't need AI?
- That can be a successful engagement. I am not selling AI products. I am helping you make the product decision clearly. Sometimes the best answer is not yet, or not at all.
- What kinds of problems do you solve?
- I help founders and product leaders make product calls: build vs. buy vs. partner, AI strategy, roadmap prioritization, feature investment, unit economics, and scaling from prototype to production. My experience spans Disney, ESPN, Twitter, Microsoft, and the products I have built independently.
- Do you have consulting case studies?
- I am building the consulting side of the practice now. What I do have is twelve years of shipped products at Disney, ESPN, Twitter, and Microsoft, including 92.4% video minutes growth at ESPN and a unified video player serving 100M+ users at Twitter. I have also built and shipped my own products recently.
- What's the Scorecard credit?
- 100% of your Product Scorecard fee is credited toward a Strategy Sprint if you continue within 60 days. It is designed to make the first step useful on its own, without forcing you into a larger engagement.
- Who is this NOT for?
- I am probably not the right fit if you need a dev shop to own implementation end to end, if you already made the decision and only want validation, or if the work needs a long procurement process before anyone can make a call.
